Pediatric surgery refers to a surgeon who specializes in surgery for children and adolescents from newborn to 18 years old.
To become a pediatric surgeon, you can obtain the pediatric surgery subspecialist qualification after completing a training course in pediatric surgery for two years. The Korean Association of Pediatric Surgeons is the first sub-specialized society organized as a surgical department in Korea in 1985, and has been treating sick babies professionally for over 30 years.

Although no one could have predicted, the various congenital anomalies encountered after the birth of a baby (anus obstruction, esophageal obstruction, congenital megacolon, intestinal atresia, diaphragmatic hernia, congenital biliary obstruction, etc.) were incurable and desperate to give up. However, as medicine advances, knowledge is shared, and experiences are accumulated, these congenital anomalies can be expected to lead to a healthy life for babies through professional surgery and treatment by pediatric surgeons. All surgical diseases occurring in children even after the newborn period can be treated through pediatric surgery.

Since our minute mistakes are directly related to the inconvenience and complications that the child will have for the rest of his life, we are treating them more carefully than anyone else with the heart of parents and working with the utmost care.
